Our Beliefs

One faith. One family.

"Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners—of whom I am the worst."

— 1 Timothy 1:15

Like the Apostle Paul, we do not come claiming righteousness or perfection. We come as people who have been rescued by the grace of Jesus Christ. We are ordinary men and women whose lives have been transformed by the love, mercy, and saving power of our Lord and Saviour.

The Olive Tree is a community of Christians united by one purpose: to know Jesus, make Him known, and encourage one another to walk faithfully with Him.

We believe that Jesus prayed for His followers to be one (John 17:20–23). In a world often divided by traditions, opinions, and denominations, we choose to focus on what unites us rather than what separates us. Our identity is not found in denominational labels, but in Christ alone.

Our foundation is simple

  • We believe in one God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
  • We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, our only Lord and Saviour, who died for our sins, rose again, and offers eternal life to all who believe in Him.
  • We believe the Holy Bible is the inspired, living, and authoritative Word of God, guiding our faith and our lives.
  • We believe salvation is by God's grace through faith in Jesus Christ.
  • We believe every believer is called to love God, love one another, and make disciples of all nations.

The Olive Tree exists to serve the Body of Christ by connecting believers, ministries, churches, businesses, events, and communities that seek to glorify Jesus. We desire to cultivate a place where Christians from different backgrounds can gather in love, encourage one another, and work together for the Kingdom of God.

"There is one body and one Spirit... one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all."

— Ephesians 4:4–6

May everything we do point people to Christ, for His is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.
